Cafe Olivia Dallas Review: Get the Nana's Latte

Cafe Olivia in Downtown Dallas scored a 4.63 out of 5 from me, and it's a GO. Drinks, ambience and service all got a perfect 5. The one thing holding it back was the food, which came in at 3.5.

The reason to go is the Nana's latte. It's basically a banana latte made with banana milk, and it was so delicious and unlike any other banana latte I've ever had. 10/10, I totally recommend you try it.

The vibe

Ambience got a 5. It's a beautiful space and a great place to sit with a drink.

I first went for one of their Pilates events with Cafe Olivia, and the whole experience was so fun. If you see one of their events come up, it's a great way to try the cafe and make a morning of it.

The drinks

Drinks scored a 5, and the Nana's latte is the star. Banana lattes can taste artificial, but this one is made with banana milk, and you can tell. It's creamy, a little sweet, and different from anything else I've had in Dallas.

If you're a coffee person, Cafe Olivia is on my map for coffee, so you're in good hands either way.

The food (honest take)

Food got a 3.5. The breakfast tacos are what I'd tell you to skip. I know food isn't their main selling point, and that's fine, but if you go, come for the drinks and grab breakfast somewhere else.

Service

Service got a 5. Everyone was lovely, and it made the visit feel easy.

Tips

Go for the coffee, and order the Nana's latte first.

Skip the breakfast tacos.

Keep an eye out for their events, like the Pilates class I went to. It's a fun way to spend a morning.

The verdict

Cafe Olivia in Downtown Dallas is a 4.63/5 GO. It's for latte lovers, people who want a beautiful spot to sit, and anyone looking for a fun morning event. Order the Nana's latte, skip the breakfast tacos, and enjoy the space.

That latte alone is worth the visit. I'm already thinking about my next one.
