Drake's Hollywood Dallas Review: Worth the Hype?

Drake's Hollywood in Dallas scored a 4.25 out of 5 from me, but it's a SKIP. Ambience got a perfect 5, and food, drinks and service each got a 4.

I tried it after seeing it all over TikTok, so here's my honest verdict: the vibe is a 10/10, and the food is good, but I don't think the price matches the quality. It wasn't special enough for me to want to go back.

The vibe

Ambience scored a 5, and this is where Drake's Hollywood really wins. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and it's a great chance to dress up. If you want a glamorous night out with great photos, it delivers on that.

The food

Food got a 4. The pasta and pizza were good. I want to be clear: the food wasn't bad. It just wasn't memorable enough to justify the $$$ prices, especially compared to how stunning the room is.

Drinks and service

Drinks scored a 4, and service scored a 4. Both were solid, nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either.

Who might still love it

If the experience matters more to you than the food, like a birthday dinner or a dressed-up night with friends where the setting is the point, you might enjoy it. Go for the pasta and pizza, enjoy the room, and know that you're paying for the vibe.

The verdict

Drake's Hollywood in Dallas is a 4.25/5, but a SKIP from me. It's beautiful and the food is good, but at $$$ prices I want food that's special, and this wasn't. If you go, go for the atmosphere and the chance to dress up. If you're going for the food alone, I'd spend that money somewhere else on my map.
